Design & Photography for “How To Become Clairvoyant” Collectors Boxed Set

My design process for Robbie Robertson’s collectors boxed set is now complete and will be going to press the first part of June. This is the capper to a very complex project that involved not only this collectors boxed set but two commercial CD releases and an LP along with many other support materials.  I love how it is all turning out and the spirit behind the creation of this project.  Here’s what Robbie had to say about the boxed set.

The How To Become Clairvoyant collectors edition is the most extraordinary, in-depth and exciting collection of music and art that I’ve ever worked on.

A collection like this was unheard of a few years ago, but in these times we have the ability to do something special for those who are looking for more, I fully embrace this new model.

Included with the record on both cd and 180 gram clear vinyl are 10 bonus tracks that were the seeds of this whole project, and I’ve also included a Multi track DVD so that you can hear the music- inside the music.

There are 5 pieces of custom art from the renowned modern artist Richard Prince (including 3 numbered lithographs), photo artist Anton Corbijn captures the essence of the story in pictures (including the cover art lithograph), master magician Ricky Jay contributes artworks from his amazing archives, also included are 8 original tarot cards designed specifically for this project, and there’s works from Sante D’Orazio, Maureen Lambray, and designer/photographer David Jordan Williams.

I’ve never been this excited and proud to sign a collection of music and art that so perfectly reflects the heart of a piece of work.” – Robbie Robertson
